RESTORATION
Restoration projects include period residential homes and house museums as well as historic commercial buildings.
In addition to receiving the National Trust for Historic Preservation Award for the El Capitan Theater restoration project this restoration remodeling team has also received restoration awards for excellence for the restoration of the historic Beau Arts Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County; the Art Deco historic Max Factor Building in Hollywood; the Art Deco Alex Theater in the city of Glendale; the Art Deco historic Grand Warner Theater in the city of San Pedro; and historic house museums such as the Virginia Robinson Garden Estate in Beverly Hills; the historic Rindge Estate of Los Angeles as well as private period residences rehabilitated to meet modern needs.
Our projects have frequently required preservation of surviving historic features as well as replication of damaged or missing architectural ornament and artwork; and frequently began with stabilization of the structure.
